Jervis-Smith Design is a graphic design consultancy working in branding and identity, corporate communications, marketing and patient information. Melanie Smith founded Jervis-Smith Design in 2000, having worked as a designer since 1984, after gaining a BA Hons in Graphic Design at Chelsea School of Art. Melanie believes that successful design comes from establishing a clear brief and a good understanding of the clients' needs.

After that, it's vital for strong creative solutions to be delivered reliably - on budget and on time. Over the years, Melanie has built excellent working relationships, with clients returning again and again. Melanie has had a very wide range of experience in different sectors including financial, medical, consumer, business to business, utilities, charities and local government.

Projects have ranged from annual reports to small leaflets, corporate identity to advertising campaigns, newsletters to multilingual environmental reports, calendars to conference designs and keyrings to T-shirts.
Services
National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence, (NICE) provide national guidance on promoting good health and preventing and treating ill health.
The calendar was a very popular marketing tool, enabling NICE's messages to remain on recipients' desks for a full year.
Subsequently Melanie's designs have promoted NICE through magazine advertorials, mugs, mousemats, posters and also in 2008 themed the national conference.
