Business Details
I create websites for businesses that are built for ownership, flexibility and control. Every website I develop can be edited by you, transferred to any hosting provider, and used without ongoing payments if you prefer. Alternatively, I provide hosting at fair prices, with support available according to your requirements.
I am Stef, a web developer with more than 20 years of experience, including five years working with Bandcamp.com and over ten years supporting local charities. Based in Prestwich, Manchester, I use open source technologies such as Ruby on Rails and Eleventy to produce fast-loading websites with a strong technical foundation for search performance and affordable hosting. You receive the complete source code for your project through GitHub, while my own tools and templates are openly available. Your website remains private if you choose. I offer clear, flat-rate pricing, with a 50% discount for charities, co-operatives, artists, musicians and sustainable businesses. I also provide free guides and marketing advice videos to support your growth. My services include new websites, custom applications, SEO audits, content advice, hosting, migrations, technical guidance and resources to help you manage your online presence.

Stefan has built our co operative holiday cottage website for several holiday cottages in our area of Cumbria, liaised with free to book, organised our payments system, linked several booking sites together, made a beautiful map linking all the local points of interests, dealt with our many and varied questions and very much more. Fantastic work Stefan, would highly recommend.
